Hastings: Emily

It's the second night in Hastings and Rye. Horse-mad Emily plans an evening of comfort food, including carrot and parsnip soup, meat loaf and apple and blackberry crumble. The night starts with a surprise when a new face appears. Irish crooner and 1960s star Dec, of Bachelors fame, steps in for Clive. There are more surprises, as Louise is fascinated to discover Emily's equestrian connections, Aussie food snob Gary is unimpressed with Emily's menu, and beauty therapist Chiara has an immediate clash of interests with Dec.
