The Himalayas

The Himalayas stretch 1,500 miles across Asia, a formidable wall of rock and snow with peaks 5 miles high. Beginning in Pakistan in winter, and journeying from west to east through the seasons, this film reveals the Himalayas’ wild side, from mountaineering monkeys to primitive hot springs snakes, high-altitude spiders to predatory golden eagles, as well as billions of people who rely on the Himalayas for monsoon rains and fertile soil.
