Skyrim and indeed the entire Elder Scrolls universe, expose us to a number of unanswered questions and unexplained narratives. However, perhaps the greatest mystery of The Elder Scrolls franchise, and one that nearly shaped Skyrim itself, is unknown fate of Emperor Uriel Septim the fifth - The Emperor who went missing.
