Jonas van Boxstael, more famous as Bockie De Repper, is friends with the best chefs in the country, knows the menu of all restaurants and snackbars in Flanders without question and when he is not dining at a chique restaurant he gets takeout. His own kitchen is gathering dust and Bockie has no idea what the average Joe from Flanders eats on a daily basis. That's why he goes on a culinary journey through the country to dine with the the local Flemish person. He discovers what their diet includes and asks them questions only he can and dares to ask. This leads to very interesting conversations and fascinating stories.
