Some climate plans sound quite wild. Like the idea of filling the Sahara with solar panels and then getting their power here. There is enough sun. The British even want to pull such a cable in a few years' time, because from a physics perspective we can transport thousands of kilometers of green electricity. And that is how often remarkable solutions to the climate problem sound. Super batteries that allow us to drive much further than we do now. Large-scale heating with hydrogen gas.
