Noël 1963. Monika (enceinte) et Joachim s'affichent heureux au réveillon. Eva est venue sans Jürgen, resté seul à la maison. Helga arrive avec mari et enfant et prend en main les préparatifs. Lorsque sa mère est victime d'un accident, elle reprend les rênes de l'école de danse, quitte à faire des choix qui ne plairont pas à sa génitrice conservatrice... Monika traverse une passe difficile, mais s'implique dans sa carrière d'auteure-compositrice. Elle demande de l'aide à Freddy, qui dirige un night-club. Wolfgang continue de se montrer ferme dans les affaires de mœurs, sans imaginer les conséquences dramatiques de son intransigeance. Eva tient sa galerie d'art et son mariage d'une même main de fer, mais avoue à sa mère le secret qui plane sur son foyer. Celle-ci, déjà troublée par une rencontre du passé, est bouleversée par cstte révélation. Monika et Freddy continuent leur travail pour la célèbre Hannelore Lay, tandis que Joachim peine à se remettre de la fausse couche de sa femme.

The opening night of MIPCOM 2025 was marked by the world premiere of Boston Blue. In this gritty police drama, Donnie Wahlberg reprises his role as Danny Reagan, a former NYPD detective now transferred to Boston, while Sonequa Martin-Green plays Lena Silver, a young detective from a long line of police officers. The plot blends themes of homecoming, redemption, and family tension as Reagan tries to reconnect with his son Sean (Mika Amonsen), while facing an investigation with complex ramifications.
Premiering yesterday in its international debut, The Miniature Wife has already caught attention for its daring concept. The story begins with a technological mishap: a wife (played by Elizabeth Banks, known for Pitch Perfect and The Hunger Games) is accidentally miniaturized, triggering an unexpected power struggle between the spouses. Alongside her, Matthew Macfadyen (Succession, Death by Lightning) portrays the overwhelmed husband struggling to cope with the transformation. The series promises a sharp, inventive exploration of intimacy, imbalance, and modern relationships through a contemporary, darkly comic lens.
