L'équipe de C'est pas sorcier part à la découverte des grands fleuves et des aménagements que l'homme y a apportés. Fred et Jamy remontent le cours de la Seine, en navigant à bord de différents bateaux. Sur l'Echoranda, un "bateau-sondeur" capable de naviguer dans les conditions les plus extrêmes, nous observons la topographie du fleuve et son évolution. Puis nous embarquons sur un convoi de 5 500 tonnes pour découvrir les conditions de navigation sur la Seine.
