Pour désengorger les routes et les voies ferrées, de nouveaux tunnels ferroviaires sont en construction ou en projet. Ils permettront de faire voyager les camions sur des trains. Mission : Contrairement aux premiers tunnels alpins creusés dans les crêtes des montagnes, les nouveaux tunnels sont construits aux pieds des Alpes. Ces chantiers sont titanesques.
