Sahara : la grande traversée
Fred et Jamy nous emmènent découvrir les multiples visages et paysages du plus grand désert du monde, le Sahara. Il s’étend sur plus de 9 millions de km2, traverse tout le continent Africain et descend jusqu’à la bande sahélienne au sud. Parti de Ouarzazate, au sud du Maroc, Fred a franchit le massif montagneux de l’Anti-Atlas, ultime frontière naturelle avant le désert.
Il va explorer cette immensité de roches et de sable en compagnie d’Ali Sbai, fils de nomade, issu d’une des dernières grandes lignées de maîtres caravaniers. A dos de dromadaire, ils traverseront une partie de la hamada du Draa, vaste plaine aride qui débouche sur des champs de dunes à perte de vue. Embarqué pour plusieurs jours avec les hommes du désert et leurs montures, ils vont nous faire vivre un véritable voyage dans le temps, au rythme des grandes caravanes qui reliaient autrefois le Maroc à Tombouctou au Mali.
