A propos du moment où les humains ont compris la reproduction :
il existe une frise sculptée à l’abri du Roc-aux-Sorcières, datant du Paléolithique supérieur, qui représente des corps de femmes et des animaux. Certain.es chercheur.euses y voient notamment les étapes de la reproduction et pensent que les gens avaient déjà compris comment elle fonctionnait au Paléolithique, mais la grande majorité des préhistorien.nes pensent que ce n’est pas le cas.
