Dr. Billot refuses to operate on Clémentine, declaring himself less gifted than the deceased Delatrousse. Miss Chevrotine is more pleasant towards Clémentine. Éole and the circus animals are arrested by the police. They then send an SOS to Alex, who had given up flying because of the accident, but he flies to help Aeolus. Taking advantage of Alex's absence, Billot shows his true colors. He moves Clementine to another room, more like an attic, and forbids any visitors. During a walk in the clinic garden, Clémentine meets a little cat who falls into a pond while chasing a frog. While trying to save him, Clémentine falls into the water and is saved by Miss Bleu. Dr. Billot decides to operate on Clémentine that same evening. Miss Bleu warns Clémentine's friends. Miss Chevrotine, as if hypnotized, takes Clémentine to the operating room, but Héméra blocks her way and restores her senses. Then, Héméra kills Billot and faces Malmoth. The next day, Clementine leaves the clinic.
