Gail is cross with Martin for answering her phone but they make-up later. Deirdre sides with the factory girls and joins them when they have a sit-in on the site. Ken doesn't send a photographer but the Gazette does. Martin and Gail go public and meet in the Rovers and bump into Ivy. She doesn't take Vera's comments well. The factory girls take it in turns to guard the building site and Martin seems to have brought over his slippers.
