Dicen que el verano del 68 fue el verano del amor. En España y concretamente en el barrio de la familia Alcantara el amor estaba muy bien para Jackie Kennedy y Onassis, recién casados aquel agosto, pero ellos tenían otras cosas más importantes en que preocuparse. Para empezar, Toni, el primogenito de la familia iba a ser el primer Alcantara universitario y eso exigía una serie de gastos que había que asumir. Claro que el chico parecía tener la cabeza en otra cosa, concretamente en las faldas de una chica que le provocaban más de un peligroso despiste con la matrícula. Carlos, el pequeño, seguía creciendo para desesperación de su madre que no sabía de dónde iban a sacar dinero para llegar a fin de mes. Y por si esto fuera poco Mercedes tiene una falta.
