Los Alcántara celebran las navidades de 1974. La tranquilidad y la normalidad parecen haber llegado a San Genaro y todos esperan pasar unas fiestas agradables y en familia. Pero una inesperada visita de Francia, la desaparición de Miguel y los continuos lloros de Paquita enturbian las celebraciones navideñas, estropean el cordero y hasta algunos se tendrán que quedar sin probar el salmón.
