Calores de agosto
Agosto de 1978. Todos esperan impacientes las vacaciones. Antonio (Imanol Arias) y Mercedes (Ana Duato) han planeado ir unos días a Mallorca, pero una huelga de controladores pondrá en riesgo su viaje. Antonio intentará hacer todo lo posible para conseguir un vuelo a tiempo, ya que tiene preparada una sorpresa para su mujer que no quiere perderse. Sin embargo, la situación empeora cuando Pepe, que estaba haciendo unos arreglos en casa de los Alcántara, tiene un percance y acaba provocando desperfectos en la vivienda de Pituca (Mercè Mariné) y Goyo, el notario (Pepo Oliva).
Mientras, Toni (Pablo Rivero) se encuentra un poco apagado tras su ruptura con Juana (Cristina Alcázar). Su hermana Inés (Pilar Punzano) se esforzará por animarle y le sacará de fiesta. Toni se dejará llevar por la noche y acabará en casa sin saber que sus padres están ocupando su habitación.
