Learning that Esme and Adil have a baby, Eleni feels terrible that Esme has been carrying this burden alone, and she pressures her to tell Adil. But Esme refuses. Adil, though heartbroken, respects Eleni’s decision to leave—but asks her for time so he can make the Furtunas pay for what they did to her. Eleni gives him only one day; she’ll leave the next morning. Adil takes action. When he learns that Esme’s father fell off a cliff while trying to throw Esme off, he demands justice for Esme as well. He drags Hicran to the edge of that same cliff and makes sure Şirin Furtuna hears that Şerif tried to kill Eleni. As “blood right,” he demands three heavy prices from Şirin: the land of the tea factory, the Furtuna Mansion, and the entire Furtuna family’s presence at the Koçari wedding where Çakır and Akça will be married.
