While Mükerrem and Nüzhet escape the fire, Halit opens his eyes in the hospital. Halit's pressure on Mükerrem increases. Chief Prosecutor Defne burns her own future to protect her daughter. Seniha tries to protect Mükerrem from her brother while embarking on a new path with prosecutor Cihan. Unable to withstand Halit's pressure, Mükerrem reveals that the baby is not his. Nüzhet learns that it was Nalan who burned the hut and wants a divorce. Having nothing left to lose, Nalan is prepared to give up her life for her love.
