Le 5 mars 2022, une équipe de scientifiques retrouve l'épave de l'Endurance à 3 000 mètres de profondeur sous la banquise Antarctique. Le navire mythique est la relique d'une des plus grandes histoires de survie de l'ère moderne. En effet, 108 ans plus tôt, Ernest Shackleton et son équipage embarquaient sur l'Endurance dans le but de traverser l'Antarctique. Mais pris au piège par les glaces, les hommes allaient devoir survivre et s'en sortir par leurs propres moyens pendant 630 jours !
