Doom: The Dark Ages, The Midnight Walk & Unter dem Radar | GAME TWO #376d
It was clear from the outset that DOOM:THE DARK AGES would be a brute ballerfest. And although the latest offshoot of the shooter series remains true to the core of the series, fat action with big guns, a lot has already changed on paper: there is more focus on melee action, larger areas and the fact that it is a prequel to the 2016 spin-off also holds potential for some interesting background information on the Doom Slayer.
THE MIDNIGHT WALK is also kind of creepy, but far less action-packed. The adventure game from the Lost in Random makers not only focuses on a beautifully spooky atmosphere, but also aims to impress with its style. Tim Burton would definitely be proud.
This episode concludes with a category that we probably no longer need to explain: UNDER THE RADAR. You know the principle: small, fine games that we couldn't fit into our show elsewhere.
