Ein Antiquitätenladen wird überfallen. Der Besitzer und eine Kundin werden in eine Besenkammer gesperrt, damit sich die Täter am Tatort ungestört lieben können. Dann fliehen sie im roten Wagen des Antiquitätenhändlers. Die Täterbeschreibung ist für die Beamten vom 14. Revier wertlos. Aber immerhin hat der Händler Fotos von den wertvollsten Stücken gemacht.
Schon nach wenigen Stunden können Henning Schulz und "Harry" Möller einen Kellner beim Versuch verhaften, ein Schmuckstück aus der Beute zu verkaufen. Dieser behauptet jedoch, das Stück als Trinkgeld von einem verliebten Paar erhalten zu haben. Zudem hat er für die Tatzeit ein Alibi. Bei den Ermittlungen nach dem verliebten Täterpaar wächst auch in Harry und Henning die Leidenschaft.
