The Mystery of the Silent Scream
While arriving in Las Vegas, Frank and Joe are run off the road by a deaf girl named Alicia Peterson (Martha Garrett) who read the lips of a man threatening to blow up a casino at a gas station using a pay phone and the criminal catches her staring at him and knows she is a suspect. Joe saw the license number of the car that was speeding away driven by Alicia and her friend Sally Kline (Elizabeth Stack), then they try to track them down in Las Vegas as they have tail gated them before and find out that they're staying at the same hotel while Alicia and Sally try to warn the manager of the hotel, Philip Chandler (Kenneth Tobey), about the bomb but he assures them nothing bad is going to happen convincing them that people there lose money for gambling and end up threatening others and the threat never comes through but the women decide to still take action.
