Eratosthène, l'homme qui a calculé la circonférence de la Terre il y a 2000 ans...

Dans cette vidéo nous allons parler d'un grec (oui encore un) qui fût le précepteur d'un prince d'Egypte, puis directeur de la Bibliotheque d'Alexandre et qui inventa la discipline qu'est la geographie !
Et il a aussi calculé la circonférence de la Terre (il y a 2000 ans du coup) et ne sait pas trompé de beaucoup! Un sacré CV !

- à 0:40 je dis "percepteur" à la place de "précepteur" (désolé)

Je tiens à préciser que je m'intéresse principalement aux découvertes ou aux travaux de types "astronomie" qu'ont réalisés ces personnages historiques !
