Serenity, inner peace, and contentment: Since the sudden death of her father, Kristina (Liza Tzschirner) has missed these feelings, only returning when ballooning. A fateful encounter draws your attention in new directions. Balloonist Kristina loves to soar high in the air. Because from far above all worries suddenly seem small - and Kristina has enough worries. When her father dies on a hike together, her mother blames Kristina and throws her out of the family-owned company. But Kristina's relationship with her boyfriend Erik soon gets violent.
