Although the young Polish Agata Kowalczyk is to be the godfather of her nephew, she just leaves her sister Eliza in church shortly before baptism when her friend Hannes shows up there. With him Agata is committed to women from Poland who want to legally abort in Berlin. Again and again there were conflicts with the militant anti-abortionist Martin Lipp, the father of Hannes. Agata's sister Eliza pretends not to know about all of this. However, when the missing person's investigators investigate her, she has to admit that her relationship with her sister is much tighter than she initially said. As an employee of the Polish embassy, ​​Eliza feared for her job if anything came out of Agata's commitment. This put her under pressure from Martin Lipp, who wants to end the relationship between Agata and his son. Eliza also claims that Agata is important to her and that she is very worried about her. Because Agata was stillborn in Poland - and is now pregnant again.
