Dans cet épisode on va découvrir ensemble l'envers du décor du métier de pisciculteur spécialisé dans l'élevage de truite. Pour ça j'ai suivi Richard, éleveur breton dans sa journée.

Il existe différent parcours pour devenir pisciculteur.

Après la 3e :
2 ans pour préparer le CAP conchyliculture, éventuellement complété par le BP responsable d'exploitation aquacole maritime- continentale (2 ans) ; 3 ans pour le bac pro cultures marines ou productions aquacoles.

Après le bac :
2 ans pour obtenir le BTSA aquaculture.

CAP ou équivalent :
CAP agricole Agricultures des régions chaudes
CAP Conchyliculture (maritime)
CAP Développement option 5 gestion et entretien en milieu marin (Polynésie française, Nouvelle-Calédonie)

Bac ou équivalent :
Bac pro Cultures marines
Bac pro Productions aquacoles
BP Responsable d'exploitation aquacole maritime-continentale

Bac + 2 :
BTSA Aquaculture
DEUST Technicien de la mer et du littoral

Bac + 3
Cadre technique production et valorisation des ressources marines


? Salaire :
Le salaire est variable selon la taille de l’entreprise, les spécialités de l’exploitation et le volume de la commercialisation des produits.
A l’embauche un ouvrier débutant est payé au S.M.I.C.. Un professionnel confirmé est rémunéré aux alentours de 2 000 € mensuels.
