El Trenza is released after a few bribes and arrives at the village, but Renato sees him from afar, imagining the worst. Paloma arrives at Gustavo’s farm and bombards him with complaints, as she believes he kidnapped her daughter and that, because of this, Renato and Bárbara got back together. Dalila tells Renato that his brother Luis Ernesto is going too far with his drinking; upon arriving at the cantina, Renato threatens Dalila to stay away from Bárbara. Bárbara is tired of her mother’s unhealthy jealousy, so she consults her lawyer about how she can remove her from the farm.
