Ikari Gozen
Kagami and Marinette are stuck together in Paris for Friendship Day game to find a hidden celebrity—Adrien with two weather girls. Marinette, who was greatly opposed to this, discovers Kagami is actually lonely and really wants to know her. Her blind mother, Tomoe, phone calls and is displeased that Kagami took part in the game without her consent as Marinette tries to calm her down with Kagami's phone, and Hawk Moth evilizes Tomoe and her car into "Ikari Gozen", a centaur with a lance; she grabs and traps Kagami in her giant armor body. Wanting to save her new friend, Ladybug's Lucky Charm leads her to Master Fu, who loans her the Dragon Miraculous. The kwami Longg appears to Kagami inside Ikari Gozen's belly and she transforms into the dragon superheroine "Ryuko". Ryuko challenges Ikari Gozen to single combat, revealing her secret identity in the process, but is driven back. Working together, Ladybug, Ryuko and Cat Noir defeat Ikari Gozen. Regardless of the fact that Hawk Moth already knows her identity, Ladybug teaches Kagami not to be modest. The two girls go to have juice together even though they lost the game.
The wait is over and the dust has settled over Paris. With "Nemesis," the 26th and final episode of Season 6, "Miraculous, les aventures de Ladybug et Chat Noir" has closed one of its boldest chapters to date. Season 6 premiered in France on TFOU in March 2025 and finished its French run on October 11, 2026. Across those 26 episodes, Thomas Astruc's superhero phenomenon did something few long-running animated series attempt: it changed the status quo for good. A new cycle that took real risks
To understand why "Nemesis" lands so well, you have to remember where this season started. Season 5 ended the Agreste family arc, the storyline built around Gabriel Agreste, voiced with chilling restraint by Antoine Tomé as Hawk Moth and later Shadow Moth. Season 6 is the first season of a brand-new arc. With a new holder of the Butterfly Miraculous turning Parisians into akumatized villains, the writers had the freedom to rethink the show's formula. The premiere, "Climatiqueen," made that clear immediately, and the season kept introducing threats that felt different from the old villain-of-the-week pattern, including a wonderfully imaginative antagonist in the early episodes.
