1903. Ellis Island

In 1903, more than 600,000 people from different parts of Europe passed through the doors of the Ellis Island Immigration Center, before starting their new lives in the United States. In 1906, more than 800,000 people were welcomed on this small island in New York Bay, just a few hundred meters from the Statue of Liberty. X-ray of the island through which the dreams of elsewhere of millions of people have passed.
