Sia reports her sister missing to Yao, a gruff and depressed police officer. Amelan, her niece, has a sickle cell crisis. Sia takes her to the hospital, where she meets Felix. The young doctor tells her that without a transplant from her mother, the little girl is doomed. Sia, with the help of Felix, decides to find her sister. She then meets Madame Corinne and her daughters, former "généreuses de bizi" - occasional prostitutes.
