La Première République ? C’est la Révolution, la Déclaration des Droits de l'Homme et du Citoyen, la Terreur, les guerres contre l’Europe, tout le monde sait ça ! La Troisième République ? Assez facile aussi : il y a la séparation des Églises et de l’État, l’affaire Dreyfus, et puis la Première Guerre mondiale, bien sûr. Mais la Deuxième République ? Alors là…comme elle a duré à peine 4 ans, on est nombreux à ne pas très bien la connaître. Ou alors si : on sait que très vite son président Louis-Napoléon l’a transformé en Empire, pour devenir Napoléon III. Mais n’allons pas trop vite : ce kidnapping politique, nous aurons l’occasion d’en parler dans une deuxième vidéo. Ce qui nous intéresse aujourd’hui, c’est plutôt les origines de cette république : vous allez découvrir que cette toute petite période de notre histoire est en fait assez intéressante !
