L'IA peut-elle vraiment aider les historiens ?

Si je vous dis intelligence artificielle, vous pensez à quelques références de films comme I, Robot, A.I. intelligence artificielle ou Ex Machina. Bon on n'en est pas encore là, mais l'IA investit de plus en plus notre vie et se développe à une vitesse folle. Et comme on dit, la science n'attend pas : ça fait en réalité déjà longtemps que les IA sont utiles à la recherche historique et scientifique, parce qu'elles savent traiter une très grande quantité de données très rapidement, et donc détecter, lire, et même traduire des textes anciens durs à décrypter, reconstituer des objets 3D, identifier des contrefaçons, analyser des patterns de paysage… Bref, faciliter le travail des chercheurs ! Vous l'aurez compris, aujourd'hui, je vous propose de partir à la découverte de cette autre facette des IA, à savoir leur utilité en Histoire !
