Les autochtones, qu'on appelle souvent par abus de langage "indiens d’Amérique", sont souvent associés dans l'imaginaire collectif aux cowboys et...c'est tout. Pourtant, leur peuple n'a pas disparu avec l'arrivé de l'homme blanc, bien au contraire ! Et durant la Première Guerre Mondiale nombreux sont les autochtones qui ont participé, aux Etats-Unis ou au canada, à l'effort de guerre.
