While Vera marvels at her astonishing healing powers, Stanislaw Zajak now realizes—the young woman carries her mother's vampire genes! Maggie is beside herself with anger and worry for her daughter. At the Strigoi monastery, Quito's servant must protect her daughter Sophie from the Order's clutches.
