The Peace

Stockholm, The Day of Peace, 1945.
A spontanious kiss between two strangers in the crowd at Kungsgatan will lead up to big consequences.
The war has affected the business at restaurant Djurgårdskällaren, driven by the Löwander family. The son, Gustaf, finds a risky way to solve the restaurants economical problems. The sister, Nina, arranges a peace banquet that will determine her future. Chef Backe makes life hard for the new scullion Calle Svensson.
