Kathmandu, a decisive stage: challenges, encounters, and upheaval at the dawn of a historic revolution set to ignite the Nepalese capital. This fifth stage will be pivotal, giving the remaining teams a chance to win their passports to China, the next country of the race. All three races will take place in the very heart of Kathmandu, an intense, sprawling city of more than three million inhabitants. Bustling markets, narrow alleyways, chaotic traffic: a real challenge for the teams under the “no connection” rule. With no GPS or digital assistance, finding their way will be an achievement in itself. But this stage will not be purely spiritual—it will also plunge the teams into the heart of Nepalese history.
