Miraculous Season 6 Finale Explained: How Nemesis Ends a New Era for Ladybug and Chat Noir and Sets Up Season 7

The wait is over and the dust has settled over Paris. With "Nemesis," the 26th and final episode of Season 6, "Miraculous, les aventures de Ladybug et Chat Noir" has closed one of its boldest chapters to date. Season 6 premiered in France on TFOU in March 2025 and finished its French run on October 11, 2026. Across those 26 episodes, Thomas Astruc's superhero phenomenon did something few long-running animated series attempt: it changed the status quo for good. A new cycle that took real risks

Season 6 is the first season of a brand-new arc. With a new holder of the Butterfly Miraculous turning Parisians into akumatized villains, the writers had the freedom to rethink the show's formula. The premiere, "Climatiqueen," made that clear immediately, and the season kept introducing threats that felt different from the old villain-of-the-week pattern, including a wonderfully imaginative antagonist in the early episodes.
