Im Offenbacher Ledermuseum wird die Leiche eines jungen Mannes gefunden. Bei dem Toten handelt es sich um Edgar Götz, vorbestraft wegen Diebstahl und ein guter Freund des Täschnermeisters Rickert, einem so genannten "Babscher". Rickert, so findet das Ermittlerteam Schlosser, Grosche und Carol heraus, war der Letzte, der Götz lebend gesehen hat. Doch Rickert war zum Zeitpunkt der Tat angeblich bei Isadora, einer Domina, was diese Kommissar Schlosser auch bestätigt. Dennoch fragt sich Schlosser, in welchem Verhältnis die Drei zueinander standen und was Edgar Götz mit den Leuten des Sportstudios zu tun hatte, das von Rickert erwähnt wird.
