The women are outraged when the new doctor and teacher turn out to be temporary: Nola was right after all. Nola is sent a food parcel, and sells off the contents to the women. However, she learns there was dope in the tea-bags, which were sold to Lizzie, and runs herself ragged trying to get them back. When Lizzie tastes how vile the tea is, she demands her money back, which she gets. Maxie realises why Nola wanted the tea back, and Nola announces her intention to start dealing. Lainie feels depressed about her future, thinking nobody will employ her because of her tattoos, so Judy arranges an interview for her.
