Der Kastner ist tot! Gerade als Nick Messner mit seinem Auftritt das Gemeindefest von Meutenstetten eröffnen will, unterbricht diese furchtbare Nachricht das fröhliche Treiben. Die Gemeinde ist schockiert, Dorfpolizist Franz überfordert - schließlich handelt es sich um Mord! Und dann wird die Leiche noch auf dem Blutstein gefunden, jenem heiligen Ort im Dorf, der der Legende nach sein Opfer fordert, wenn sich Neid und Habgier im Dorf breitmachen! Nur gut, dass sich zufällig Susanne von Hagenberg, Manne Brand und Theo Renner im Festzelt befinden, die eigentlich das Wochenende für eine gemeinsame Fahrradtour nutzen wollten. Doch daraus wird nun nichts, denn Hauptkommissar Schickl sorgt dafür, dass die SOKO 5113 ermitteln darf. Schon bald merken die Beamten, dass sie es bei der Bevölkerung von Meutenstetten mit einer eingeschworenen Gemeinde zu tun haben, die Konflikte lieber unter sich löst. Trotzdem steht schnell fest, dass der alte Kastner bei weitem nicht so beliebt war, wie alle vorgeben. Seinem Sohn Hanno wollte er den Hof wegnehmen, Kastners Stieftochter Liesel wurde seit ihrer Kindheit unterdrückt. Mit dem Gemeinderatsvorsitzenden Enzinger verband Kastner eine jahrelange Feindschaft, und der Wirtin Lohbichler passten Kastners Verkaufspläne der Eggenwald-Alm so gar nicht ins Konzept.
