Der Landwird Franz Eberwald wird von der Urlauberin Elisabeth Hansen erschlagen unter einer Eiche außerhalb von Leuschbach gefunden. Offenbar wollte der Täter den Mord wie einen Unfall aussehen lassen - Einsatz für die SOKO 5113. Die Tat löst im Dorf Verwirrung aus, doch niemand trauert wirklich um Eberwald, der ein skrupelloser Egoist war. Arthur Bauer und sein Team finden bald heraus, dass Eberwald sich von einer Entsorgungsfirma bestechen ließ, die im Erlbruch illegal Giftmüll abkippte - ausgerechnet auf dem Gelände, auf dem ein Investor einen Ferienpark errichten will, in dem die Dörfler ihre Zukunft sehen.
