Vor zwölf Jahren haben Paul Achtermann, Dr. Richard Röder und Oliver Beetz, drei Studienkollegen, die erfolgreiche Bio-Kosmetik-Firma PARIOL gegründet. Nach einem jahrelangen Auslandsaufenthalt liegt jetzt Achtermann erstochen am Isarhochufer. Es stellt sich heraus, dass er unheilbar an Krebs erkrankt war und nach München zurückkam, um letzte Dinge zu regeln. Hauptkommissar Arthur Bauer und sein Team von der SOKO 5113 durchleuchten das Firmengründer-Trio und stellen schnell fest, dass längst nicht alles Gold ist, was glänzt. Und welche Rolle spielt die elegante Stella Beetz, die – damals wie heute – das Werbegesicht von PARIOL ist und mittlerweile mit dem jetzigen Chef der Firma eine glückliche Vorzeige-Familie gegründet hat?
