Dem Richter und passionierten Pilzsammler Arne Vogler fällt bei der morgendlichen Suche nach Steinpilzen ein Motorradhelm auf den Kopf. Am Boden liegend, blickt er auf ein Skelett. Es hängt in den Ästen eines Baumes. Dieser Anblick des Skeletts in Bikermontur führt bei Arne zum Herzstillstand. Der verunglückte Biker, Gus van Behringen, war verheiratet mit Lydia von Hochstetten. Diese wird in ihrer Villa mumifiziert im Yogasitz gefunden. Im Haus lebt außerdem eine Aga-Kröte. Deren Gift wurde auf van Beringens Haut aufgetragen. Das todbringende Tier hatte sich der Australier Elliot Shore auf unrechtmäßige Weise besorgt, um seinen Rivalen Gus zu töten.
