Un soir, Alexandra fait la connaissance du docteur Wecker dans un bistrot de Cologne. L'homme est assez entreprenant et l'inspectrice de la Soko préfère rentrer chez elle. Le lendemain matin, Ulrike Overbeck est retrouvée poignardée, dans son quartier. La jeune femme était la soeur du patron du bistrot. Présente la veille dans le café, elle était partie en compagnie du docteur Wecker. Lors de son interrogatoire, ce dernier a réponse à tout. Il avoue avoir raccompagné la jeune femme à son domicile mais nie l'avoir tuée. Les enquêteurs interrogent également l'ex compagnon de la victime, mais lui aussi a un alibi en béton. Une découverte explosive les mènera sur la bonne piste
