In der SOKO taucht eine alte Bekannte von Karin Reuter auf: Camilla Hildebrand, eine Krimiliebhaberin, die bereits in zwei Fällen erfolgreich „mitermittelt“ hat. Sie hat sich in einem Kloster eingemietet, um dort ihren ersten Kriminalroman zu schreiben. Als die alte Nonne Immaculata unter mysteriösen Umständen stirbt, weiß Krimifachfrau Camilla sofort: Da war Gift im Spiel. Klarer Fall von Mord. Die Ermittlungen im Kloster stellen die Beamten vor ein Rätsel. So sehr sie sich auch bemühen, ein Motiv für den Mord lässt sich beim besten Willen nicht finden. Dazu kommt Camillas heimlicher Ermittlungseifer. Denn die selbsternannte Schriftstellerin stellt auf eigene Faust Ermittlungen an. Der Fall dreht sich, als Oberin Luitgard als eigentliches Mordopfer in den Fokus der Beamten gerät. Denn die resolute Klosterleiterin ist bei ihren Mitschwestern alles andere als beliebt. Dann ist da noch der ominöse Projektentwickler Robert Behring, der das hoch verschuldete Kloster zu einem Luxushotel umbauen will. Steckt er hinter der grausamen Tat? Die Beamten kommen einfach nicht weiter. Bis sich herausstellt, dass die ermordete Immaculata von einer verstorbenen Verwandten aus Montevideo viel Geld erben sollte.
