Ein nächtlicher Notruf bei der Polizei ist das letzte Lebenszeichen der 21-jährigen Mona Kraft. Kurz darauf wird ihr Handy in einem Park gefunden. Von ihr selbst fehlt jede Spur. Mithilfe des Smartphones sowie der darauf befindlichen Apps und Anwendungen versuchen Olivia und Tom minutiös die Stationen, Kontakte und Aktivitäten der jungen Frau nachzuvollziehen, die sich erst seit wenigen Tagen in der Stadt befand. Die digitale Spurensuche bringt die SOKO-Beamten zwar auf eine heiße Spur, führt ihnen aber auch drastisch vor Augen, wie viel ein Mensch von sich preisgibt, wenn er die neuen Medien nutzt. Hajo macht sich unterdessen Sorgen um seinen Freund Josef Petri, der offensichtlich ein Alkoholproblem hat. Dabei kommt Hajo seiner alten Liebe Sonja Petri wieder näher.
