Tom Kowalski traut seinen Augen nicht: Bei der Leiche im aktuellen Fall handelt es sich um die Frau von Frank Duske, von dem Mann also, der ihn wegen seiner Fahrerflucht erpresst. Kathleen Duske hatte ein Verhältnis mit dem Maler Roy Reisinger und wollte ihren Mann verlassen. Alles deutet auf eine Beziehungstat hin.
