An einem Wintermorgen fährt Eddy Koch als Nikolaus verkleidet mit dem Fahrrad in eine Drahtfalle und verblutet. An seinem vorletzten Arbeitstag übergibt Hajo die Leitung der Ermittlung an Ina. Doch im Lauf der Ermittlungen wird klar, dass nur jemand aus der Firma Kochs Weg zur Arbeit kennen konnte. Ina fühlt sich von Hajo beobachtet und stellt ihn zur Rede.
