Pauline Hobrecht has her first day at the criminal investigation department in Potsdam. As she is about to introduce herself to the team, a frightened young man suddenly appears in the office who has been kidnapped. He introduces himself as Tim Demandt and was kidnapped eleven years ago. Tim was able to escape his kidnapper and now wants to go home. The detectives are on alert.
