The existence of “game parks” remains largely unknown in France. Yet, 1,300 hunting parks or enclosures exist nationwide, according to the Association for the Protection of Wild Animals. NGOs infiltrate hunters to gather evidence of this absurd reality. What they hide are enclosed spaces bounded by kilometres of fencing, preventing anyone—and especially game—from escaping. Everything is meticulously arranged so shooters always hit their target. Deer or boars have virtually no chance of escape, while hunters are sure to leave with their “trophy.”
