Cécile Bazin, director of the zoo, is found dead in the cheetah enclosure. Despite the bite marks, it wasn't the cheetah that killed her. Would they have wanted to make it look like an accident by letting the wild beast into the enclosure when it should have spent the night in its lodge? Léa and Paul discover that Cécile had no shortage of enemies. She received hundreds of threats following the announcement of the euthanasia of a cheetah cub born with a genetic abnormality. Was it killed to save the animal?
